About me

Bio July 2020 cut in_edited_edited.jpg

I’m a connector and communicator.

I’ve built a project-based career helping organisations, individuals and communities connect, communicate and change for good:

  • More sustainable organisations (environmental, social and economic)

  • More sustainable communities

  • Stronger relationships and reputations

  • New processes, technologies and structures

  • New skills, knowledge and opportunities

  • New brands

Wide industry experience

With more than 20 years’ sustainability, communications, change management and engagement experience across many sectors and organisations, and degrees in economics and law, I understand how different businesses and organisations work. I’ll get to know yours quickly.

Listening and co-design

I’m a good listener and I believe in co-design. So that’s where I’ll start – by listening and involving you and your team to design strategic, pragmatic solutions that work.

As an experienced facilitator, an adult education tutor and a published writer-editor, I’ll help you identify and focus on what matters.

Fast turn-around

Then, as an experienced consultant used to working in complex, fast-changing environments, I’ll turn your project round quickly.

Giving back’s important to me

I’m a proud mentor to some awesome young women, through First Foundation and Auckland University’s Young Sustainability Leaders programme. I help Bike Auckland run workshops, develop strategy and spread the biking word. And I'm a dab hand at dishes at local community enterprise Everybody Eats.

Outside work I’m happiest on my bike, in the garden or the bush, with my nose in a good book, or enjoying the company of good people (and Momo the cat).
